1930s silk lace trousseau robe

a rare 1930s champagne silk lace trousseau / bridal robe from the estate of Elizabeth Pless. Kept in the Same family since the 1930s. Buttons have been replaced with antique ones. Blouson sleeves and full skirt. Embroidery on lace of leaves and florals. This was completely handmade for Elizabeth. I believe this to be part of a set with the monogrammed trousseau nightgown.

condition

great overall, has been washed 3x by me and mended and is in perfect structural condition. We have very high standards for condition regardless of antique items. Condition notes : there are scattered small age marks on skirt, that didn’t fully come out with washing. This is 90 + years old and in amazing condition overall for age, but it is noted. We had buttons replaced with antique period appropriate ones. There is a significant amount of fabric in the skirt. Price reflects both rarity of piece and condition.
