1930s NRA embroidered organza gown
Very rare 1930s NRA label hand embroidered ecru silk organza gown. The NRA label signifies clothing made from 1933-1935 only, in the U.S., under a program covering many consumer good initiated by FDR. Hidden snaps on the entirety of the back neckline for closure. 30s flutter sleeves and layered skirt with delicate hand embroidery. A rare piece of wearable American history. Would be beautiful as a wedding gown.
model is an xs with a 24” waist and 33” bust. It is not pinned on model.
Excellent, organza is strong and sturdy. No rips or tears. Some very faint age marks on one of the layers of skirting, difficult to notice because of the Enormity of the fabric. A beautiful one - of - a - kind piece of wearable history.
